Dentures

Dentures & Partials

What Are Dentures?

Dentures are removable dental appliances that replace missing teeth and restore your smile. They not only improve appearance but also help with chewing, speaking, and supporting facial muscles.

There are two main types:

  • Full Dentures – replace all teeth in the upper or lower jaw.
  • Partial Dentures – replace multiple missing teeth while preserving the healthy natural teeth that remain.

Why Consider Dentures?

  • Restore confidence in your smile
  • Improve chewing and speaking ability
  • Support facial structure and prevent a “sunken” appearance
  • Affordable option for replacing multiple teeth
  • Can be combined with implants for extra stability

The Denture Process

  1. Evaluation & Planning
We’ll examine your mouth, review your options, and design a denture that fits your needs.
  2. Impressions & Measurements
Detailed impressions of your gums and bite are taken to create a custom fit.
  3. Try-In
A wax model may be tested in your mouth to ensure proper fit and appearance before the final denture is made.
  4. Final Denture Placement
Once ready, your dentures are adjusted for comfort, function, and a natural look.

Adjusting to Dentures

It’s normal for dentures to feel different at first. With a little time and practice, most patients adapt quickly. We’ll provide instructions for eating, speaking, and caring for your dentures.
